Ryanair issues travel warning for ‘disruption’
Ryanair has issued a travel warning for “potential disruption” on flights to and from the UK due to cold weather.
A spokesperson said: “Potential disruptions to and from the United Kingdom due to freezing weather conditions.
“Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to and from the UK on Tuesday December 5 should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.
“We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affects all airlines operating to and from the UK on December 5.”
Passengers are advised to check the Ryanair app before travelling to the airport as cold weather could impact flights.

The Met Office warns that there will be a “few wintry showers in the north and the northeast” with “some freezing fog forming by dawn”.
It said: “Remaining rather cloudy in the south and southeast, but clearer elsewhere. Light winds for all and turning cold with a frost and some freezing fog forming by dawn.”
On Wednesday the frost and fog is expected to clear with bright spells to follow. The weather is expected to be milder from Thursday to Saturday.

easyJet has also issued a warning for British travellers as they could face difficulties travelling to the airport due to strikes.
Train strikes are expected to impact lines across the UK this week up until December 8. Tourists could face knock-on delays over the weekend.
British tourists should plan their journey before setting off at the airport to make sure their route isn’t impacted.
