Schitt’s Creek fans can stay in a Rosebud motel Airbnb with Moira’s wigs

Schitt's Creek fans can pretend they're in the Rosebud Motel from the hit Netflix series in an eye-catching Airbnb.

The beloved show follows the Rose family (played by Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy) who go from billionaires to broke, and end up living in a motel in the town of Schitt's Creek, where they meet a host of quirky characters.

Now, you can book a stay in the motel too – or at least, an Airbnb that's been done up to look like the iconic set where David, Alexis, Johnny and Moira all live, minus the infamous ceiling leaks, bugs and dodgy towels.

Although the studio in Portland, Oregon, isn't officially affiliated with the show, it has heaps of brilliant nods to iconic episodes and props from the series. For a start, the main bedroom has been painted and set up to look just like the room which David and Alexis share, from the blue walls to the bedding and desk layout.

There are plenty of surprises throughout the room too from a glass courtesy of Herb Ertlinger and his fruit wine, to a book about business written by Johnny Rose himself. Oh, and if you head into the bathroom you'll find the wall covered in Moira's iconic wigs (and yes, there's a cap so you can try them all on yourself!).

Dubbed the 'The RoseBud & Barkfest' as it's also dog-friendly, the studio has a number of fake props and nods to episodes such as Ronnie’s Party, Smoke Signals, The Crowening, and Murder Mystery.

There's also plenty of entertainment on offer for guests. For a start, there's a TV so you can watch your favourite episodes of the Netflix show, but if you don't fancy sitting in front of a screen you'll find games such as Schitt’s Creek Monopoly, a Schitt's Creek colouring book, themed Uno and What Do You Meme? games, as well as the hardcover book, Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: The Story of Schitt’s Creek.

The best part is that prices won't have you saying 'Ew, David!'. Stays start from £79 a night with a minimum-two night stay – you can find out more on the Airbnb listing here.

Unfortunately if you're hoping to turn it into a tour of the filming locations, you're not going to be in the right country. That's because most of the show was filmed in Ontario, Canada. The town Goodwood doubled up as Schitt's Creek, with its buildings being used for exterior shots of the likes of Café Tropical, Bob’s Garage, the Schitt House and the Town Hall.

Meanwhile the Rosebud Motel was a real property on the side of a main road in Orangeville, which was used predominantly for exterior shots. (Interior sets were actually created within film studios in Ontario). Sadly it wasn't run as a real motel, but the owners did put it up for sale back in 2021 so who knows what the future could hold!
