Stay at a Bridgerton-themed country house with grand balls and carriage rides

If you’re as obsessed with Netflix’s Bridgerton as we are you’ve probably been googling gowns and dances in your area – just in case they exist.

After all, who doesn’t want to feel like the diamond of the season once in a while?

And, thanks to a UK travel company, you can now indulge your fantasies and enjoy a two-night Bridgerton experience in a Norfolk country house.

You’ll stay in the gorgeous Inglethorpe Hall while being attended on by private staff, a chef and have use of a horse and carriage.

Plus, there are grand balls and even a Lady Whistledown newsletter each day which will outline your itinerary.

Is this our dream post-lockdown trip? Absolutely.

The first day of your regency experience will begin with a stroll in the private gardens followed by a picnic of tea, cakes and delicate sandwiches.

Then you’ll take a private floristry workshop where you learn to arrange gorgeous bouquets – just like a proper young lady would have in the Bridgerton era.

That night you’ll dress in your fanciest ballgown and enjoy a casino night hosted in the main hall with drinks and fine dining.

Day two begins with a horse and carriage ride around the local area followed by an extravagant ball with live entertainment, canapés and classical renditions of modern tunes.

Just like in the Netflix show!

Can it get much better than that? Yes.

Ahead of the ball you’ll find a ballgown or tux waiting in your room with a lady’s maid to do your hair styling and make up.

Finally, on the last day of your trip you can chow down on a lovely afternoon tea in the hall’s dining room, reports Tyla.

The enormous country house sleeps 20 people with nine bedrooms and six bathrooms and you get the lot to yourself.

You become the lord or lady of the manor for the weekend – who wouldn’t like that?

The Bridgerton Experience costs from £1,750 per person for a two night stay based on six sharing.
