UK nudist resorts and clubs where you can strip off from Cheshire to Lancashire
It’s not for everyone, but there are many people here in Britain who prefer to be fully naked.
Nudism, or naturism as it’s also known, is not a new fad but a lifestyle many have lived for decades,
Unfortunately for them, the UK is not a country where wandering around in the buff is particularly expected or allowed.

So, you can’t just happen down a street in the nude and not expect to be left to get on with it!
Luckily, for those who like to live their lives naked there are places you can go for a week or two each year, namely, nudist resorts.
While you may not have heard of them there are actually at least 10 naturist resorts within the UK where you can take your kit off without worrying.
For families, there’s the Heritage Naturist club in Berkshire.
Facilities include stunning grounds, a sauna, hot tube and steam room plus a pool.
There’s also a clubhouse, plenty of sports and even a youth hut for youngsters.
At Heritage you can choose to camp in a tent, stay in a motorhome or rent a chalet or cabin.
Another UK nudist resort is the Apollo Sun Club.
You can camp or take out a chalet and there’s also swimming, darts and pool boards, cafes and ice cream shops.
Plus, it’s right by the South Downs which is perfect for walks and seaside activities.
Over in East Cheshire there’s the Phoenix Sun Club where you can throw off your clothes and get comfy.
The resort has boules, picturesque grounds and a sauna.
Plus, of course, a pavilion and mintier court.
Further up North, in Knaesborough there’s the Valley Club.
Near to Harrogate this resort allows campers, caravaners and motorhome fans to catch up and get their kits off.
In the resort there are shower blocks, a clubhouse and bar perfect for a relaxed nude holiday for the family.
Also up North is the Lancashire Sun – a long established naturist club surrounded by natural woodland and 10 acres of private space,
There are relaxing lawn areas, a hot tub and heated swimming pool plus a sunbathing patio and flower beds.
Plenty of sports are on offer from pétanque to table tennis and darts.
