Disney schedules November debut of Cirque du Soleil show
“Drawn to Life,” Disney’s long-awaited Cirque du Soleil show, has a new opening date of Nov. 18.
The show will be performed at Disney Springs, Walt Disney World’s dining, shopping and entertainment district.
“Drawn to Life” was originally scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2020, but the debut was postponed due to the pandemic.
Born out of a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, “Drawn to Life” is billed as a “live acrobatic journey” and tells the story of Julie, a young girl who becomes immersed within an “inner world of animation.”
