Nexion is on pace to deliver a record number of leads
This year is poised to be a record when it comes to leads delivered to Nexion Travel Group members.
The Irving, Texas-based host agency this week said that in the first half of the year, it delivered 3,006 leads to U.S. members via Agent Profiler, putting it on track to exceed 2022 leads, which totaled 5,112.
Agent Profiler is an online lead-generation system that consists of advisor profiles from Nexion’s consortium, Travel Leaders Network.
The host agency has 82 members who are “Super Agents” on Agent Profiler, a designation earned by having complete profiles that make use of all of Agent Profiler’s features as well as a certain level of expertise and client reviews. Being marked as a “Super Agent” gets the travel advisor in question higher ranking in searches. The designation was created last year.
Nexion is also offering members new social media resources, including toolkits that include photos, videos and text content featuring Nexion’s suppliers and destination partners.
Mai Da Pra, Nexion’s senior director of marketing, said the resources should help members up their social media game.
“Travel advisors know the leads that come in from sites like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, but they have often struggled to know how to present professional content to their viewers,” she said in a release.
Enhanced cruise program
The host agency also announced it has enhanced its Cruise Block Space Program.
Nexion has increased internal resources directed to the program, which enables members to book single cabins for clients in advance. The rate is locked in even if fares increase. Some cruise lines also offer Nexion members onboard credit for their clients.
The host agency’s president, Jackie Friedman, said in a release that cruising’s increase in popularity has meant tighter inventory. With that came “a need for travel advisors to have the ability to give clients options for the future — at rates they can’t get on the Internet.”
Escape magazine redesigned
Nexion’s Escape magazine has also undergone a full rebranding. In addition to fresh content, the magazine now features a “sleek new look and feel” and “elegant, modern design,” Nexion said in a release.
The magazine prominently features an advisor’s contact information, so they remain front and center with clients.
Nexion is part of Internova Travel Group. The host agency falls under the Travel Leaders Group division.
