‘I told my husband I was going to Starbucks – then flew to one in Disneyland’

A woman jokingly told her husband she was going to grab a coffee with her pal – and ended up in Disneyland.

Ashley Pereira, who posts online under the username @ashleyepereira, shared a video on social media claiming her and one of her mum friends had told their husbands they were going to Starbucks. But the pair had found a loophole to be able to fly out to California for their favourite iced drinks.

In the clip, which has gained more than 30,000 likes, Ashley filmed out the window of their flight before walking up to the doors of the iconic coffee shop's Disneyland outlet and ordering two drinks. Over the top of the clip, she wrote: "We told out husbands we were going to Starbucks, but we didn't say which one."

They then filmed themselves clinking their plastic cups together in front of a "Happy Haul-o-ween" sign from the Pixar franchise Cars. In the caption she declared: "Starbucks just tastes better at Disneyland."

In a follow-up clip, Ashley and her friend were seen enjoying more coffees and snacks while at the park theme park in Anaheim, California – including traditional Mickey Mouse themed foods and more seasonal treats for Halloween.

She said: "When your tastebuds are happy, your heart is happy. We had the happiest time eating our way through Disneyland!

"Kid free at Disneyland means you make it a goal to try all of the seasonal treats, along with a few of our favourite traditional items!"

The mum claimed it was the "best 'mums-only' trip ever" at her "favourite destination". TikTok viewers were left stunned by the clip – and took to the comments claiming this was the loophole they needed.
